Commercial Electrical Contractor in Charleston, SC
SouthTech Electric has wired more than 100,000 square feet of homes and businesses across the Lowcountry. On the commercial side, that means ground-up construction, tenant improvement, and buildout work delivered on the general contractor's schedule with the inspections passed the first time.
Owner Jesse Cilluffo came up through more than a decade in construction before founding SouthTech, which shows up in how we work with GCs: realistic timelines, clean rough-ins, and a contractor who is reachable when the schedule moves.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you work as a subcontractor for general contractors?
- Yes. A significant share of our commercial work comes through general contractors on new construction and tenant improvement projects across the Lowcountry and Midlands.
- What types of commercial buildings do you wire?
- Restaurants, coffee shops, retail suites, offices, and small mixed-use and multi-tenant buildings. If a project falls outside what we can properly staff, we will tell you at the estimate stage rather than after the contract is signed.
- Can you handle the full project from temporary power to final inspection?
- Yes. We take commercial projects from site temporary power through rough-in, trim, and final inspection, coordinating with the other trades throughout.
